Off to Africa…

I’m off on a trip that was a long time coming.

After having lived and worked as a
commercial fisherman for years
in the wilds of Alaska,

I have dreamed of visiting the other
temperate extreme…

AFRICA.

I’m looking forward to seeing the incredible
wildlife, wild beauty and open spaces.

This is just a short post to say – I am headed for
Johannesburg, South Africa, with my new girlfriend
 and will be back towards the end of December. 

Expect pictures and stories from my safari at that time.

So until then, the best of holiday seasons…
