Another reason I needed to lock myself away is - I hate to write. Then it said it, there days I would rather get my teeth drilled on by a dentist than sit down and write.

If I don’t force myself to do it – I could avoid happily it forever. In fact, the only reason I wrote this book in the first place is because I've got overwhelmed with phone and request from relationship coaching clients who to understand how to improve their relationship communication.

Oh yeah, my other motivation for getting this done is I've also promised myself two weeks in Mexico just soon as I get this completed. The idea of warm beaches with my beloved does to motivate me!

That… and the fact that I promised this update to my friends and clients before Valentine's Day… It seems the with the stress of the economy and the holidays, couples are having more communication problems then ever and desperately needing to get their hands on some helpful information.

I wrote the original book 5 years ago as a blueprint to help couples talk their way through troubled times and improve their relationships… it's a simple step-by-step, take-you-by-the-hand to communicate lovingly and compassionately comment even when things got heated and emotional. Well, I uncover a lot in the last five years. And so when I was looking the book over again 6 months ago I decided it was time to update and improve it with more exercises, more examples and more clarity.
