Great Question…<\/p>\n

Let me tell you a story.<\/p>\n

Last \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDecember, a young and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbeautiful couple came to one \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof my relationship \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tworkshops. They loved each \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tother very much\u2026<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s where the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstory gets weird<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

You see, even though the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tloved each other, their \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tsituation is hopeless. This \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcouple had tried everything \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand the situation just got \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tworse. No matter how hard \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthey tried, their \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trelationship problems just \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgot recycled rather than \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tresolved.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sound \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfamiliar?<\/p>\n

They had done their best, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbut nothing changed. They \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thad hit a wall – run up \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tagainst a Relationship \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tRoadblock…<\/strong> And\u2026 there \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twas nothing they could do \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tabout it. They felt \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thelpless, hopeless, hurt, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfrustrated and disappointed.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t fair,<\/strong> they \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thad tried so hard and loved \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\teach other so much and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tstill, it looked like it was \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tgoing to end in a painful \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tdivorce.<\/p>\n

Their conversations often \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tended up with \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmisunderstandings… \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tmisunderstandings that led \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto arguments\u2026 arguments that \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\teventually
\nended up with the silent \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttreatment.<\/p>\n

And both of them ended up \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twalking around on egg shells \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u2013 avoiding each other and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tavoiding the issues\u2026<\/p>\n

Henry and Velina showed up \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tat the workshop feeling \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tpretty overwhelmed and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thopeless. They even \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tannounced on the first day \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tof the workshop that they \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twere going to break up. <\/strong> The only reason they were \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthere was to be learn how to \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcommunicate better through \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthe separation.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tweekend, Henry and Velina \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tlearned new communication \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttools and worked hard \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\timprove their skills.<\/p>\n

They practiced like crazy. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThere were tears and upsets \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand heart-to-heart talks and \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbreakthroughs. And by the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tend of the weekend they were \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tcommunicating much more \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\topenly and honestly about \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\ttheir individual feelings \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tand needs.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

They \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\twent home and I didn\u2019t hear \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tfrom them for a while. And \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthen one day I got this \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\temail from Velina:<\/span><\/p>\n

You see… all relationships will eventually hit a wall… <\/em><\/strong>a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trelationship roadblock where the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tproblems, misunderstandings and issues \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tare bigger than ability to overcome \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tthem.\u00a0 When you hit that \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\trelationship wall – things look \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\thopeless. And then, the harder you try \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tto fix things, the worse they get.<\/span><\/p>\n

Isn’t it time to be able to bring back the intimacy and passion, to resolve conflicts quickly, to clear up misunderstanding before the feeling are hurt, to talk so you partner really wants to listen and understand you… and to listen in a way your lover wants to open up and talk honestly.<\/p>\n
